Jonathan is a banker and entrepreneur since the mid-90’s. He led some of his family investments in many FinTech ventures, including an early investment in ZOPA in 2005, led the post-crisis restructuring of Kauphting Bank Luxembourg, renamed Banque Havilland, and was CEO between 2009 and 2013. In 2017, he co-founded Redwood Bank, a technology-driven SME lender in the UK, where he currently serves as a Non-Executive Director. Jonathan has been involved in a number of Public Companies including Jellyworks PLC that was listed on AIM in 1999 and sold eight months later to Shore Capital Plc.
Richard is an award-winning Board-level executive with over 25 years’ experience in leading innovation, growth and change in financial services, telecoms and media in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Having served 11 years in the British army and 20 years in business, Richard is a founding director and COO of Mode Global Holdings Plc, where he manages the company's day-to-day operations.
Rita is a Director of Mode Global Holdings Plc as well as CEO of Mode, where she oversees the business strategy, growth, sales and partnership networks. Rita worked at Alipay for 10 years where she held a number of senior roles, including Head of EMEA - overseeing the company’s overall business in the region, Head of Canada and later as CEO of Alipay (UK) Limited, serving on the board of the company.
Gary has thirty years’ experience within financial services, in both the banking and building society sectors. He has held senior positions at Alliance & Leicester Plc, Nationwide & Newcastle Building Societies and Cambridge & Counties Bank, before co-founding Redwood Bank in April 2017. He now serves as CEO of Redwood Bank and has since been named as a UK Top 25 Business Leader and Finance CEO of the Year.
Jonathan is a Director of Mode Global Holdings Plc and the CTO of Mode. He brings a combination of experience across fintech, payments, as well as Open Banking. He co-authored the payments and security sections of the UK Open Banking Specification which lays out an open standard that enables account-to-account (A2A) payments and a safe and secure way for third parties to interact with customers' bank accounts. Prior to joining Mode, Jonathan was an API and Payments Architect at Mastercard and before that CTO at Open Banking payments startup, Banked.
David is a Non-Executive Director of Mode Global Holdings Plc and has had an instrumental role in Mode’s business development. David also holds the position of Director of Operational Transformation at PGL. Prior to this, David was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of JGOO Ltd specialising in supporting businesses trade with Chinese nationals and students here in the UK and in China and as Business Development Director of Mode Global Holdings PLC. David has held a number of senior roles in the retail and hospitality sector, including the role of Operations Director at Wyevale Garden Centres and Managing Director at BHS International (UK) Ltd. David’s retail and operations experience spans over 40 years including significant periods with the Arcadia Group and Marks and Spencer.
